The automatic transformer foil winding machine is specially designed for automatic winding of foil coils for transformers and reactors. It integrates feeding, tensioning, winding, insulation stacking, welding and cutting in one unit.
Fitted with dual foil and insulation paper unwinders, it can feed copper or aluminum foil and insulating material synchronously. The hydraulic tension control system stabilizes foil tension to prevent wrinkling and deviation for flat windings. Controlled by PLC and HMI touchscreen, parameters such as foil width, turns, overlap and winding speed can be preset for automatic continuous winding.
It supports TIG welding or cold pressure welding to realize reliable end connection of foil strips. Equipped with turn counting, position detection and limit protection, the machine stops automatically once the target turns are reached.
It can wind foil directly onto the core, compatible with dry-type and oil-immersed transformers as well as reactors of various specifications. Featuring high automation and minimal manual operation, it delivers standardized coil forming and consistent quality, ideal for mass stable production.
